My late husband served 20 years in RAAC. He did 2 Tours to Vietnam.
I worked as Public Servant for Defence -Army, started in Pucka 1982. 1984 worked at Victoria Barracks Brisbane. In 1998?? our area were moved to Enogerra Base. In 1999 I retired to be home with my husband.
Have 3 adult children and 13 grandchildren….. so my life is full on….. I still try to attend some Army activities organised by my husband’s Regt…. Always wonderful to catch up with old friends, no matter how long it is between seeing one another, it just feels like only yesterday…..The Army family is really special and the civilians find it hard to understand
