I have no military service at all to draw on, but I was directed to this site by a relative who did service in Vietnam 1968; in the army. He was more precisely, a survivor of the actions at FSB Coral. I don’t want to name him, unless he consents. What I do/and have participated in my career in health, is in the treatment of PTSD generally but including people anywhere from WW2, Korea, Malaya, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. I find it very hard to watch anyone suffer, but anyone that has served OS or not has their own ghosts and demons that admittedly makes me feel next to useless at times. I do have a passion for history, but a particular passion for our war history that has been manifest in my experience of relatives and others narratives. It’s the other peoples experiences that I want to read about as well. Interest satisfied, if I glean any ideas about what I do and how to do it in my professional life its worth it. I have no desire to upset anyone, merely try to experience your input.
