Stephen, I was a helicopter pilot in the US Army’s 195th AHC. In 1969 we ran some missions with the Australian’s somewhere south of Saigon. The old memory banks are getting pretty dim nowadays. Anyway, my unit was pretty unique in that we flew camouflage Hueys. Were you involved in those missions?

The only thing I remember is a conversation about us (Warrant Officers) being in the officer club at that base because that was an enlisted rank in the Australian Army. My best guess is we were sharing some of our techniques or equipment we were using to support the MACvSOG cross boarder operations.
